Landscapes of Home @ Powell Street Festival

A special screening of Landscapes of Home at the Powell Street Festival in Vancouver — Canada’s largest celebration of Japanese Canadian arts and culture. The screening will take place on Saturday, August 2nd at 4:00 PM at the Firehall Arts Centre, one of the city's most beloved performance venues.

Landscapes of Home is a moving documentary that explores the layered histories, memories, and identities of Japanese Canadians across generations. Through personal stories and archival imagery, the film reflects on what it means to belong — and how home can be both a place and a feeling.

Following the screening, there will be a live Q&A session with Alice and me to share our creative voices behind the project.
